Welcome to Namibia. Explore Windhoek's colonial landmarks β Christuskirche, the Tintenpalast, and the Namibia Craft Centre. Taste local cuisine at a typical restaurant before an early night.

Route: Windhoek β Kalahari (approx. 3 hrs south-east)
Into the red sands of the Kalahari. A Bushmen-guided walk reveals ancient survival knowledge, followed by a 4Γ4 safari to spot oryx, springbok, suricates, and possibly lions.

Route: Kalahari β Fish River Canyon (approx. 6 hrs south)
Drive to the second-largest canyon in the world. The gorge drops 550 metres over a length of 160 km. Panoramic rim walks at sunset deliver extraordinary views.

Full day for deeper exploration. Morning hiking trails, hot-spring relaxation at Ai-Ais, and geological explanations of the canyon's 500-million-year formation.

Long drive north into the Namib. En route, stop at Solitaire for Namibia's famous apple strudel before arriving at Sesriem as the golden hour light transforms the dunes.
